The majority of the members of the collective units of the Central Table who voted ratified the collective agreement. The following collective agreement units have new collective agreements from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2014. Pre-Bargaining Survey Many of you may have received the pre-bargaining survey via email. CUPE sent a letter with a link to the survey prior to the negotiations. For those of you who have been at cancerCare through multiple collective agreements, you`ll remember the previous surveys we sent out. This survey is the same, but now we are doing it online. Please complete this survey, as this is the way for YOUR voice to be heard and perhaps one of your proposals will be in the collective agreement. This MOA was negotiated with all unions in the health sector. The MOA ensures that members` rights are protected by any collective agreement and provides for financial compensation in the event of a temporary transfer. It is accompanied by a copy of the moa project (currently being signed).
This is absolutely not allowed and it is a serious violation of our collective agreement. If you find that there are MNU, MAHCP or Out of Scope people performing the work of jobs within our CUPE scope, please report it. If you do not know if this is one of our positions, please report it, as we have the opportunity to check it. Some may feel like it`s not important, but if the office work is done by a manager, if there are other closures or slowdowns, we don`t want our members not to have to do their job because one manager or others have done it. Winnipeg (Sep. August 31, 2011, after sixty-nine days of negotiations, a preliminary agreement was reached between the Manitoba Association of Health Professionals (MAHCP) and Manitoba health care employers, who are participating in central negotiations with MAHCP. Some of you who work after 4:00 or maybe even 4:15 pm will have seen a clue in your workbox via email announcing that the dental plan premium is increasing. Some of you know that on December 13, 2019, HSC had also indicated that its premiums would also increase from January 30, 2020. CCMB and HSC are the only entities under phcc`s collective agreements covered by our dental plan. All other facilities use dental HEBP. CUPE 5362 had only received notification of this increase in January, after repeatedly requesting, knowing that HSC premiums were increasing.
After receiving this notification, we filed a complaint arguing about this increase. For your information, CUPE 204 has also filed a complaint with HSC about its increase, so we will likely discuss it together, as we move towards a merger with Local 204. Until the abuses are resolved, we have to pay the premium increase. Bill 29 Legal Challenge – Public Services Sustainability Act: Today, unions and government came together in court to take on this challenge. This legal challenge does not require any salary increase or improvement of our collective agreement. What we are asking for is that we be able to deal with these improvements, as is our right. This bill has taken that right away, and it goes against Canada`s Bill of Rights. Although about two-thirds of mahcp central table members voted to ratify the interim agreement, five bargaining units rejected the settlement proposal.
